The study will focus <strong>on leather tanning technologies currently available on the market<\/strong>, with a particular emphasis on evaluating their impacts through the use of an <strong>LCA study<\/strong>, as well as the group&#8217;s initiatives to develop high Bio-Based content products to obtain less impactful leathers on the environment.<\/p>\n<p>This study represents an opportunity for GSC Group to share its knowledge and innovations with the sector, actively contributing to the debate on the importance of environmental sustainability in the tanning industry.<\/p>\n<p>Aware that global perspectives indicate the need to develop more environmentally friendly materials, GSC Group has already accepted the challenge and is committed to reducing hazardous chemicals and developing leather processing products that significantly integrate renewable sources. Bio-Based compounds are indeed becoming increasingly prominent in the market and are carving out a prominent place in the raw material supply chain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GSC Group&#8217;s session<\/strong> will begin with a presentation <strong>by Riccardo Pasquale, PhD, at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 23rd.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The full title of the research is: <strong>&#8220;The future of leather production based on chemicals evaluation in conjunction with modern tools for higher performing processes and lower environmental impact.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are excited to make our debut at the ALCA Conference, aiming to actively contribute to the discussion on sustainability in the sector.
