Determination of Bisphenols on Leather
In this three-episode video series, we delve into a highly topical issue closely affecting the leather chemical industry: the presence of bisphenols in finished leathers and the chemical products used. We will show you concretely how GSC addresses this issue through the determination, monitoring, and control of the content of these substances, both on leather and in chemical products.
Vapor Condensation (Fogging) Test for the Automotive Sector
In this three-episode video series, we illustrate step-by-step how to perform the Fogging Test, a requirement primarily in the automotive sector. This test allows us to control and measure the “fogging” phenomenon, which is the amount of condensation that deposits on car windows and windshields, causing them to become cloudy. This phenomenon is caused by volatile organic compounds present in the materials and finishes of the car’s interior.
Veslic Test
In this five-episode video series, we explore one of the fundamental and most requested tests in the leather world: color fastness to rubbing, which is the resistance of color to friction. This test is performed for all major application sectors, including Automotive, Furniture, Leather Goods, and Footwear.
